New Color Challenge

Wonderful

We had another beautiful day today. The sun was shining and the weather was nice. We went to Brunch this morning at a place called Breaking Bread. They only serve on Saturdays and Sundays and they have a great buffet style brunch. I have been there a couple times with my girlfriend, and this was the first time I took my honey, and he really enjoyed it. Than we did some shopping and were pricing some LCD tvs They are rather expensive and decided we would wait before we get one. We currently have a 55'” flat screen HDTV but the glare on the tv is terrible and makes it hard to watch during the day when the sun is shining; but we will invest in ways to shade the windows for now. But let me tell you the clarity is awesome on the LCD screens.
I am excited to announce that I have joined the CT team for Bonnie VanEsch. I really love her designs and am happy and honored to be a part of her team. Today I have a couple LO’s I did using her newest kit “Wonderful” and you can find it here.

Carousels

Hi everyone!!!   The week has been so gorgeous here.  We have had temps in the 50’s!!!  WOOHOO!  That means Spring is right around the corner!  Unfortunately the temps are dropping tomorrow and we are expected to get snow on Saturday.  That’s Wisconsin weather for you—one day in the 50’s and the next day it’s snowing!!!  But with Spring on the way that means Summer won’t be far behind.  And what comes to mind when you think of Summer??  Carnivals and Fairs!  And when I think of Summer Fairs I think of Carousels!!!  Oh yeah!!!  Those gorgeous horses on the carousels—they are so pretty.  If you love carousels like I do than you are going to love Kimb’s new kit “Merraround”!    It’s gorgeous and there’s unlimited possiblities with this kit.  Here take a look at what’s in the kit.

There is sooooo much in this kit and the elements are awesome, and the carousel is GORGEOUS!!!!  And she even included an alpha!

Color Challenge and Freebie

Here I am again---getting my color challenge contribution right under the wire again!! I started on a kit early in the month, but than things came up and I never finished it so I did a LO and I am giving you the frame from my LO. Hope you like it!! This post has to be short because I need to get to bed and finish working on my taxes tomorrow!!! Ugggh! I hate doing my taxes, but this year I should get a decent refund! :)

Wooohoooo! My good friend and awesome designer Kimb was soooo kind as to give my blog a new makeover. I really love the new fresh look, what do you think about it?? It sure brightens things up and soooo spring like. I LOVE it Kim--thank you!
