New Month-New Pick UR Bits at DSO

Hi everyone!!! Spring is here! YOOHOO! It was a beautiful, gorgeous day yesterday and I was loving it!! I even took some pictures to show that Spring has sprung!! Take a look at these.

As you can see the flowers are springing out of the dirt and I am sooooooo excited that Spring is finally here!!!
Along with April showers we have “Pick UR Bits” at DSO. It’s a new month with a new collaboration kit by the DSO designers called “Montage”. What this means is you don’t have to buy the entire kit, you get to purchase the bits of the kit that you like. It is really an awesome idea and it saves you money too.
Here is Kimb’s portion of the kit.

And this is just Kim’s portions to the kit, wait till you see everyone elses too. I am absolutely loving it!!
Here are a couple LO’s I made using just Kim’s portion.

This is our sweet granddaughter and her daughter.

This is some more of our grandchildren with their other grandfather who has passed away. He sooo loved his grandchildren and he spent a lot of time with them. He could always put a smile on your face no matter how you were feeling. Here is what the poem says:
In Our Hearts © Rose de Leon
We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.
He will be in everyone’s heart forever.
Here is the preview of all the parts to this months pickurbits.

And to top it all off both DSO and DSV are having Easter sales this weekend.

Are you still here? I hope so, because if you made it this far I have a freebie gift for you too. I made a QP out of the first LO above. I hope you like. All I ask is that you leave a simple comment to let me know you liked it. I like to hear what people think and I would love to see any pages you make using it too. I love to see what others do with the Qp’s.

Wonderful

We had another beautiful day today. The sun was shining and the weather was nice. We went to Brunch this morning at a place called Breaking Bread. They only serve on Saturdays and Sundays and they have a great buffet style brunch. I have been there a couple times with my girlfriend, and this was the first time I took my honey, and he really enjoyed it. Than we did some shopping and were pricing some LCD tvs They are rather expensive and decided we would wait before we get one. We currently have a 55'” flat screen HDTV but the glare on the tv is terrible and makes it hard to watch during the day when the sun is shining; but we will invest in ways to shade the windows for now. But let me tell you the clarity is awesome on the LCD screens.
I am excited to announce that I have joined the CT team for Bonnie VanEsch. I really love her designs and am happy and honored to be a part of her team. Today I have a couple LO’s I did using her newest kit “Wonderful” and you can find it here.

On sale for $3.80. Here are my pages I made using this kit. I also used Jazzy’s Wordstodelite word set “Words About Life” which can be found here at DSO.

See what I mean by a beautiful kit. and here is my 2nd page

This is our dear granddaughter holding her new little cousin and our great granddaughter. I also used Jazzy’s Words About Life WA in this page, which can be found here at DSO. I made a QP of the first page. And below is my freebie QP for all of you that want it, just click on the preview to download it. All I ask is you please leave a comment letting me know that you like it. **Link Expired**

Don’t forget to go check out this kit and Bonnie’s other kits here at her blog.
That’s all for today. Till next time have fun and be safe!
