Here are some pages I did using these kits. I like to show versatility in the kits-like with this first one, even tho it’s a Christmas kit that doesn’t mean you can only scrap Christmas pages.

This next one I made is a nice family album page with Kingdom of Ice. Our son and his family have two little shitzus that they are very attached to so I made sure they were a part of the page.

And this last one is with the Masquerade kit. I just had a lot of fun working with this kit.

Now moving on to LouCee Creations and her newest goodies. Pickleberry Pop has started a Take your Pick type of offering this week called Pickle Barrel. This is my favorite time of year and I love all the bright lights and decorations. I look forward to spending time with family and friends and just relaxing. Christmas Lights and New Kits in Store

We have our outdoor Christmas lights up and our tree is up! Yay! Now we wait till it’s time to take it all down again. LOL! We were going to cut back this year on the outside decorations but when hubby got started he didn’t quit. We have more up this year than we ever did. But it looks so nice, and we even have Christmas music hooked up to it this year and the lights move to the sound of the music.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry I haven’t been around much lately but I have been so busy making pages for my new CT duties at Digiridoo Scraps, and I did take a few days off for some rest and relaxation. We didn’t go any place fancy, we just went up north to the cabin and did some 4 wheeling, and than hit the casino for a couple of days. Of course I LOST---I can never seem to win at them places, but I sure have fun trying!!!
Anyways, as many of you know I was accepted as a CT member for the Store at Digiridoo and I have been busy making pages for them, as well as working on our son’s wedding album. So I have been pumping out a lot more pages than I have in a long time and everything is going well. I am having a lot of fun working on our son’s wedding album and hopefully will get it finished early next week so that I can give it to them, considering they have been married for 10 years last September!!! LOL!
I want to show you some pages I have been working on and hopefully you will go check them out as well as the kits I used to make them.

Kim has done it again!! She has made one of the most beautiful kits—this is definitely one of my most favorite kits so far. It’s gorgeous! I love the color combination, the elements are perfect, and the scenic papers are GORGEOUS!!! You have got to go check this one out! She made this kit because a good friend and fellow designer had asked her if she could put something together for her with a female indian touch and this is what she came up with!!! OMG! GORGEOUS!

June is here and New Releases

I can’t believe it’s June already!!! Where is the time going?? Summer is here and they are cleaning and filling the neighborhood pool and I can’t wait to go hang out at the pool! At least one or two days a week for an hour or so. Just to get some sun. I am so not good with heat!! Give me the air conditioner and my lappy and I am soooooo happy! But I do like to get some sun for some color.
Anyways it’s a new month and I have some new products to shout about!! Not to mention all new challenges in the forums, and I will be doing another mini for the color challenge at DSO. So grab yourself a cup of coffee, or cola, or tea, or whatever you need because this is going to take a while. LOL!!!

It was such a great pleasure to watch each step of a robin bringing new life into this world. Starting with building the nest to laying the eggs, to eggs hatching, mama bird feeding and nurturing the babies and than leaving the nest. I will always cherish this experience.

Loving my Time Off!

Even though it was very unexpected—I am loving my time off!! As many of you know I shattered my ankle in January—which is still healing and as far as I am concerned—it’s taking toooooo long to get the use of my ankle back. But it’s coming, and the doctor told me it would take at least a year, so considering that I have come a long ways. Well than the 2nd blow I was dealt was losing my job on Feb 28th. I was devastated!!! But I am another casualty of the economy and after 15 years of service to my boss I was out of a job. But I am finally coming to terms with it and I am trying to make the best of it. I have been feeling sorry for myself for the past few months and instead of making good use of my time off I have been wallowing in self pity!! Well I am finally starting to feel a bit better, and each day will get better. I need to make some serious choices in my life as far as where do I go from here. I am 55 years old and I do have a lot of good qualities to offer—but I also love my digi scrapping, so I am coming to the point that I am going to try and give designing my best effort!! I have learned a lot, but I still have a lot to learn. So I am going to seriously start creating and see where I get with it. It is a very competitive area and there are a lot of excellent designers out there—I am not even sure there is even any room for someone like me out there, but I won’t know unless I try. So as I learn I will share with you.
Now as you all know I am on Kimb’s CT and she has a new kit in the store today called Timeless Elegance. It is a gorgeous kit that was made because she had a request from a couple of close friends. This was the perfect kit for me too because I have been working on my stepson’s wedding album and these were the colors of the wedding. Black, red, grays—perfect!! FINALLY! and a Freebie

FINALLY up and running here! I am sooooooo sorry that I am late posting today but I had appointments all morning and by the time I got home my computer wasn’t cooperating!!! UGGGGH! So I am now finally able to up my post and freebie!!! This morning I did have to go to a class with my hubby at the hospital because he is scheduled to have a full knee replacement and the care partner had to be at the meeting with them because there is a lot that has to be done when he comes home. He is not looking forward to this, but his knee is causing him so much pain that it is worth what he is going to have to go through so the future is painfree on the most part. But as some of you already know I fell in January and shattered my ankle, and that is still not healed to where I can walk without a cane or quite a bit of pain—so we certainly make a pair at this point!!! LOL! I have to come a long ways between now and the 25th of this month in order to be of any help to him. BUT our youngest daughter is here and she will be able to help out, so that’s a good thing.

Now it’s time to start the eye candy show!!! LOL! GSCreations (Gaye) has come out with a new kit called Easter Hop! I absolutely love it when she comes out with a new kit, because she has a unique style and talent that I adore!!! This kit is no different! You can see it for yourself.

New Release Friday

It’s the end of another week. I don’t know where the week’s go. It seems they just wizz by as we get older. LOL!

Well I haven’t been out of the house since February 28th-when I lost my job so I have been a bit stir crazy!! My honey went up north yesterday to go snowmobiling/4wheeling and I didn’t go because of how difficult it would be to get in and out of the cabin. So I gave my girlfriend a call to see what she was up to. We haven’t seen each other since November, so I thought it would be a good time to get together and catch up on things. We went out for a very nice dinner and caught up on what has been going on in our lives. We, of course, talk on the phone, but it’s not the same as getting together and just hanging out together. So I had a very nice evening and it was great getting out of the house.

Well today is new release day at ScrapMatters and Kimb has a new Easter kit being released today. It is gorgeous!

Shattered

Well so much for being able to keep on track with my New Years Resolutions!! :( Shortly after my last post I fell and shattered my ankle. OUCH! I went out to shovel some snow about 2 weeks ago and slipped on the ice-as I was trying to catch my balance I felt my ankle crack, crack, and crunch and down I went. It hurt so bad. Any ways I have been out of work now for 2 weeks and I can’t put any weight whatsoever on that ankle. They had to put in 10 screws and 1 plate to fix it. There is a bone that goes down the inside of your ankle, and one down the outside of your ankle and than the one in the back of the ankle to support the heel. Well I broke all three—not just one or two but all three. I go to the Doctor on Weds. and than I will know more about what I can and can’t do—and hopefully get back to work soon. It’s very hard for me to get around like this, and I can’t imagine how I would get around at work the way things are now. But I am supposed to get a walking cast, I’m just not sure when yet, and when I get that I should be good to go. I thought well since I am laid up here I can get some scrapping done—nope—after sitting for a little bit my ankle would just throb with pain, and the only way to keep it comfortable was to lay in bed with it elevated. Even tho I sat in the recliner keeping it elevated, that didn’t work well. But now it’s not so bad and I can sit in the recliner with my lappy and do things, BUT now my internet is acting up and it’s like having dial up instead fast internet and I can’t load any pages or download anything without taking hours to do so. Nothing worse than being laid up and not being able to do what I want on the internet~:(

MScraps had there 1st year birthday bash this weekend and it is still going on today. Lots of games and challenges and a huge blog train too. I have tried participating all weekend and my internet is not cooperating, so hopefully all of you can still take advantage of all the fun over there. Congrats MScraps on your first year in business and wishing you many more. :)

Here are a couple of pictures to show you what they did to repair my ankle.

This last picture shows you the three bones that go to the ankle and I broke all of them. Well I just wanted to pop in to let you know what happened and why I haven’t posted in three weeks.

One of my New Years Resolutions is to do better at writing my blog. I want to learn and do more things digitally this year and I need to regularly post on my blog in order to develope a relationship with all who follow and will start to follow me on my blog. I have found that by not being here regularly I don’t have a good repore (sp?) with any of my followers and I have lost many of you that started to follow me in the beginning. So with a New Year I am going to make a new start. I am going to learn lots of new things this year and I will have lots to share with you as well. I love to dabble in the designing end, although at this point I do not have the talent or the time to become a full time designer—but as I learn new things and make new things I would love to offer them as freebies. I also plan to do more challenges this year and hopefully be able to offer things such as QP’s and clusters for you. I currently only CT for one person, one extremely talented designer-Kimbroedlet designs. I was also on another CT team last year, a very dear and close to my heart friend, Jazzy from Wordstodelite. But we all lost dear Jazzy suddenly and without any warning on December 14th, just 3 days after her birthday. She was one of the first people I met in my digi scrapping adventures, and we developed a very close friendship and talked on the phone regularly—I will miss her so very much, and I will never forget her gentle, caring ways. She was such an inspiration to me and so many others. She was always there to praise my work and encourage me in everything I did. She was the reason I kept working and learning new things in digital scrapping, and the reason I will continue to learn and share with everyone that I can.

So to kick things off for this year I have made a paper pack for the DSO’s Jan 2011 color challenge. I really hope that you will find a use for these papers.

Store Closing---New Homes

As most of you probably already know DSO has closed it store. BUT Bunny is NOT closing the gallery or forum. It’s very time consuming to run a big storefront and it has gotten to be too much for Bunny at this time with her private life and other interests in her life, as well as health issues. But the forum and challenges will still be there, and the gallery. Unfortunately Kim’s color challenge is on holiday for now because she has a very busy couple of months in her personal life right now, but hopefully she will be back. Now for new homes!!! With the store closing at DSO the designers are finding new places to go and sell there talented designs. I CT for two of the DSO designers and that would be Kimb designs and Jazzy’s wordstodelite. They have both found new homes. Jazzy is now at Digitals as of November 1st and I am wishing her all the luck in the world. It has been a very busy month trying to make all new previews of all their things to upload into the new stores!!! Here are some LO’s that I made for Jazzy’s store opening.

This one was made using Natalies designs kit Merry and Jazzys WA set It’s Christmas Time Volumn 2.

This one I used WaterLOproject kit Autumn Meadow and Jazzy’s WA set Fall Splendor. Now how about going and paying a visit to Jazzy at Digitals and check out her new surroundings.

And now it’s time to let you know, if you don’t already know, Kims new store is at MSCRAPS. Both Kim and her sister Gaye have moved over to Mscraps, at least for the next two months. I’m BACK and with a FREEBIE

Hi Everyone!!! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer! I have sure been enjoying the warm weather! We have been spending a lot of weekends up north. Our son and his wife, and her sister and husband own a beautiful cabin up north and we have had the priviledge of spending time up there. We were so lucky to have the cabin to ourselves the past two weekends. It was so peaceful and pleasant to be there. I can’t believe that at the ripe age of 54 I drove my first 4 wheeler. It is so much fun and there are some beautiful trails up there. Last weekend we went out on the trails with my boss and her husband. They also have a cabin not far from the kids. We went riding for about 4 hours. Of course you ride and stop for drinks along the way, and lunch. It was a bit dusty because the trails were really dry, but we traveled at low speeds in order to keep the dust under control. It was fantastic! I can’t believe I waited so long to get on one of those machines!!!! HAHAHAHA!
I also have some great pictures of a mama robin building a nest-laying her eggs –hatching them-and the babies growing to fly away. But I will save that for another day. It was so rewarding to be able to see and document that! Can’t wait to show you all.

Hi Everyone!!

Well I had a good weekend!!! I spent the day on Saturday with my good friend Michelle (Crafty Scraps) We finally exchanged our Christmas gifts! We could never seem to get together, one thing or another came up; and with me working full time I only have time on weekends, and her family comes over most every weekend—so time goes fast!! Let me tell you a little story about Michelle and me. We actually met online at ScrapbookMax. The more we talked we found out that we lived only 30 minutes apart. And to make it even more interesting through our conversations we realized that she bowled at the same bowling alley as my dear DIL, and not only that but she bowled on the same team with her! Talk about a small world. We became friends through a passion we both shared, digi scrapping, and found we were connected in a lot of other ways too!! Anyways, we laughed so much on Saturday, and I learned a few more tricks in PS that I didn’t know about. I didn’t get home untill 1:30AM!!!! But it was all good and fun!

Now for the title of my post today—House of Dreams. I became a new CT member for Bonnie VanEsch a couple of weeks ago and her brand new kit “House of Dreams” is now available on her blog. Here are some previews for you.

This kit is something fun she wanted to do. She loves to paint, art journal, make ATC's and do altered art and mixed media. This kit is a fun kit and very versatile!

The main kit contains 12 papers and 45 elements.(27 of which are completely original and new and 12 of which she has hand painted or used real pastels and then scanned in).

It also contains some words, and I also want to show you a close-up of the quality.

Than to top it off she has also made an add-on for this kit.

The add on contains 5 different papers and only 1 paper is the same as in the main kit.
And contains 8 elements.(2 of which are hand painted and drawn and original )

This kit is sooooo fun and there is so many different things you can do with this kit. Here is a page made by her team member Isabelle

and here is the page I did. I must tell you that I stepped way out of my comfort zone in creating this page. I had a lot of fun, and I really like the way it turned out. I used one of my favorite photos of my daughter for this.

I am soooooo excited to see the beautiful blooming of spring flowers! Here it is just two days later and look how much new growth there is in my little flower garden! Can you tell I LOVE spring????

Don’t you think these are gorgeous! I am sooooo happy to say GOODBYE to winter! and HELLO to Spring and all the beautiful flowers and birds that go along with it! Well I just had to show you the new growth and let you see the beauty that surrounds us at this time of year.

New Month-New Pick UR Bits at DSO

Hi everyone!!! Spring is here! YOOHOO! It was a beautiful, gorgeous day yesterday and I was loving it!! I even took some pictures to show that Spring has sprung!! Take a look at these.

As you can see the flowers are springing out of the dirt and I am sooooooo excited that Spring is finally here!!!
Along with April showers we have “Pick UR Bits” at DSO. It’s a new month with a new collaboration kit by the DSO designers called “Montage”. What this means is you don’t have to buy the entire kit, you get to purchase the bits of the kit that you like. It is really an awesome idea and it saves you money too.
Here is Kimb’s portion of the kit.

And this is just Kim’s portions to the kit, wait till you see everyone elses too. I am absolutely loving it!!

This is our sweet granddaughter and her daughter.

This is some more of our grandchildren with their other grandfather who has passed away. He sooo loved his grandchildren and he spent a lot of time with them. He could always put a smile on your face no matter how you were feeling. Here is what the poem says:

We had another beautiful day today. The sun was shining and the weather was nice. We went to Brunch this morning at a place called Breaking Bread. They only serve on Saturdays and Sundays and they have a great buffet style brunch. I have been there a couple times with my girlfriend, and this was the first time I took my honey, and he really enjoyed it. Than we did some shopping and were pricing some LCD tvs They are rather expensive and decided we would wait before we get one. We currently have a 55'” flat screen HDTV but the glare on the tv is terrible and makes it hard to watch during the day when the sun is shining; but we will invest in ways to shade the windows for now. But let me tell you the clarity is awesome on the LCD screens.
I am excited to announce that I have joined the CT team for Bonnie VanEsch. I really love her designs and am happy and honored to be a part of her team. Today I have a couple LO’s I did using her newest kit “Wonderful” and you can find it here.
